Cloud-based commissioning can provide project team members with virtual access to all commissioning documentation and activities through web-based project management software. The software should allow the commissioning authority, as well as the owner/design/construction team members, to both view and upload commissioning-relevant documents. Additionally, 'look-aheads' and milestones can be set-up, providing the entire team with a high level view of commissioning's "Next Steps".
The site and its dashboard should be simple and easy to navigate, even allowing people with little to no commissioning or project management experience to quickly and readily come up to speed and begin using the site. Designing your team tool in this manner will tend to rapidly integrate team members into a genuinely collaborative environment. And isn't that the whole point of Cx 2.0?
